News WBA Research Announces New President

WBA Research is pleased to announce that Renée Henley has been named President and CEO of the 30-year old research firm, effective January 3, 2017. Renée is a 22-year veteran of the company and has served as Senior Vice President for the last 12 years. She began her research career in 1994 as an entry-level Associate with WBA and progressed to the role of Vice President, Director of Project Management in 2000. Throughout her tenure she has been involved in the project management, operations, and business development aspects of WBA’s daily activities, making her a prime fit for the position.

After 19 years as President, Steve Markenson transitions to a Research Consultant role, remaining involved with select clients, moderating focus groups and serving as an adviser to the company. During his time as President, WBA experienced significant growth and success. Steve led the company through a sustained period of growth that included the opening of a second office in Ithaca, New York.

Concurrently, Allison Booker has been named Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. Allison has been with WBA for 20 years, serving most of this time as the head of its Health Care research division responsible for business development and client service. In 1998, Allison played an integral role in WBA’s efforts to become an NCQA certified CAHPS® survey vendor and today she continues to lead the company’s experienced CAHPS® team.
